50 years of playing...

In 1999, Ember Players celebrated 50 years of putting on entertaining, sometimes groundbreaking performances on stage.

On average the group stages three productions between September and May each year, performing every type of drama from classical to modern, Shakespeare, Noel Coward, to Ionesco.  These are staged at local theatres - the Walton Playhouse, the Vera Fletcher Hall in Thames Ditton or the Barn in Molesey.

The group has a thriving social side with a range of events from dinner dances, theatre trips, boules nights, play readings, and murder mysteries.

There are about 80 members providing stage crew, actors, producers, and bon-viveurs!  We always welcome new members, contact the membership secretary for details.
